There is no birth without suffering. There is no heart without pain. The only path to equal divine status. These pictures depict a series of deities at the dawn of their full power.
JESUPERSTAR - "God's really dead?" - 2014
I wanted to show how our representation of Christianity is pictured by the iconography of the Renaissance despite the actual diversion that I did here.
I let the viewers to identify easily the main characters.
In a society where “God is dead”.
I wanted to emphasize the ambivalent attitude of our society to religion, object of domination but also rejection that characterizes our early twenty-first century.
